CONFIRMATION OF LESSONS AND ROAD TESTS

It is the client's responsibility to remember and keep track of the dates and times of their assigned driving lessons and driving tests and not expect a follow-up call or other additional reminder, however the driving school may send you a text message the day before lessons and/or road tests to remind you of the time lesson and/or road test.

The driving school may require you to sign a “SERVICE CONFIRMATION” indicating your name, type of service received, date of receipt of the service, to confirm that you received this service in full.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF

The pick up and drop off service does not require additional payment only if the address for pick up and drop off is located no further than 15 minutes by car, taking into account the current traffic situation, from the driving school office at 197 Highlawn Ave, Brooklyn , NY, 11223. Otherwise, pick up and drop off service must be paid at the rate of 1 US dollar per 1 minute of travel beyond the 15 minutes included in the free pick-up.

DRIVING LESSONS

To reserve a time and sign up for a driving lesson, you must call the office at +1(917)789-9784 and make a deposit of a minimum of twenty dollars ($20) in advance for a private lesson.

You must bring your learner's permit to each driving lesson. The client is responsible for failure to comply with all restrictions including glasses (contact lenses), hearing aids, etc. The Client undertakes to come to driving lessons and road tests in clean and tidy clothing free from animal hair, dirt and construction dust.

Your instructor will meet you at the designated location at the designated time while waiting for you to arrive at your car; he or she is not required to call you.

If a student is late, the instructor will wait up to 15 minutes. At this time, the student will either use the remaining time or lose the lesson, without a refund for that lesson.

A driving school instructor may be late for a driving lesson for a number of reasons; in this case, the client will be notified of the delay no later than 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

CANCELLATION AND POSTPONEMENT OF DRIVING LESSONS

Cancellation or rescheduling of a driving lesson must be made no later than 24 hours in advance only by calling the office at +1(917)789-9784 during business hours.

The driving school has the right to charge the full fee for driving lessons canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the start, and if a driving lesson canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours before the start is included in the package, then this lesson will be considered completed.

The driving school reserves the right to notify and arrange to reschedule or cancel a driving lesson no later than 1 hour before the start of the lesson, unless the instructor is late.

ROAD TEST

Please note that locating and booking a road test can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks. To sign up for a road test, you must have a 5 hour certificate of completion of the pre-licensing course and a valid learner's permit.

After passing two (2) road tests, you must pay the DMV (not us) a $10 fee to be able to take two more times.

There is a charge for each time the school schedules a driving test for you, whether you take the test on that scheduled date or not. Packages include 1 road test trip. A repeat trip to the road test will be charged again.

Cancellation or rescheduling of a road test must be made no later than 72 hours in advance only by calling the office at +1(917)789-9784 during business hours, and the driving school has the right to charge twenty dollars ($20) for rescheduling. or cancellation of the road test.

The driving school has the right and will charge the full fee for road tests canceled or rescheduled less than 72 hours in advance, and in the event that a road test canceled or rescheduled less than 72 hours in advance is included in a package, that road test will be be considered completed.

The driving school reserves the right to notify and arrange to reschedule or cancel the road test up to 24 hours prior to the start of the road test.

WEATHER AND CONDITIONS

In the event of rain or snow, do not assume that all classes and 5-hour classes will be cancelled. If we deem the condition to be dangerous or extreme, the office will notify you to reschedule your appointment at no cost to you.

CONTRACTS

All packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Any unused service will be forfeited one year after purchase if not claimed. Please call the office before purchasing or a restocking fee will apply.

PAYMENT AND RETURNS

All credit/debit card payments will be subject to a four percent (4%) fee.

Refunds will be provided upon request. Refunds will be reduced by the number of lessons already taken (charged at the price per lesson) and a restocking fee of $10 or 10% of the refund amount will be charged, whichever is greater.

Credit card refunds will be issued to the credit card used to make the purchase.

Cash payments will be refunded by company check.

Credit card refund transactions may take 5 to 10 business days to process.

NO REFUND REASON:

• You are late or don't show up.

• You cannot provide the correct permit (DJ under 18 or D over 18) or 5 hour class certificate (both must be valid and not expired).

• You are unprepared for the road test/too nervous.

• If you are under 18 years of age, Form MV 262 must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian.

• You do not follow the restrictions (forgetting to take your glasses or contact lenses with you).

• Your contract has expired and you will not be able to use it for one year.
